31st Annual NSBE/SHPE Career Fair

Located in Troy, N.Y., the NSBE/SHPE Career Fair has successfully hosted over 200 companies and has provided an atmosphere for career development for more than 2,000 students in attendance each year. This year we expect to do no less!

This website has been specially designed to provide companies with the opportunity to register and gives information on how they can make the most of their Career Fair experience at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It is also a place where the students of Rensselaer can research the companies that are registered and plan their careers.

2009 Pricing Information

Base Pricing
Friday Base Fee: $480.00
Saturday Base Fee: $480.00
2 Day Base Fee: $900.00
Additional Costs
Cost Per Additional Recruiter: $85.00
Cost Per Additional Table:$100.00
TV / VCR:$50.00
Late Fee:$100.00

The Base Fee is composed of the following:

Registration Fee                                            $210
One (1) table                                                 $100
Up to two (2) corporate representatives            $170

Total                                                            $480

An additional table is $100
Additional Representatives or Recruiters are $85 each

After registering for the fair, you will need to pay the non-refundable base fee of ($480 for one day, $900 for two days) as a deposit to reserve your table(s) and equipment requests; otherwise, your organization may be put on the waiting list for the day(s) of attendance. This base fee will be credited to your account and will offset the total cost for the fair.

Note on tables and TV/VCR sets ordered:
There is limit of 2 tables and 1 TV/VCR set per company.

Note on refunds:
Either the Co-Chairs or Web Committee must be contacted via email to confirm cancellation or no refunds will be granted. All refunds will be taken care of after the career fair.

After September 11, 2009 50% of Base Fee
After October 3, 2009 0% of Base Fee

Late Fee:
Any payments made after October 16, 2009 will be charged a late fee of $100.

Walk-In Fee:
An additional Walk-In Fee of $200 will be charged to companies that show up days of the career fair without being previously registered for this year's fair. Please note that a table is not guaranteed for a walk in company and it may take up to 2 hours or longer to be assigned a table.
