All Roads Lead to Rensselaer

From north, east, south, or west, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is easy to reach. We are centrally located near the major highways in New York state.

From the North: Take I-87, the Adirondack Northway, south to exit 7 east. Get on Route 7 headed eastbound. Follow directions to campus (below).	From the West: Take I-90, the New York State Thruway, to exit 24. Off exit 24, take I-87 north, exit 1N, to exit 7 east. Follow directions to campus (below).
From the South: Take I-87, the New York State Thruway, north to exit 23. At exit 23, get on I-787 north to Route 7 east, exit 9E. Disregard the sign for RPI (Rensselaer) and Russell Sage College at the previous exit. Exit 9E, Route 7 east, provides an easier approach to campus. Follow directions to campus (below).	From the East: Take I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike, Berkshire Spur off the New York Thruway), to exit B1. Continue west on I-787 north to Route 7 east, exit 9E. From the Northeast: Take Vermont Route 9 West from Bennington to New York State, where the road becomes NY Route 7. Take Route 7 to Troy, where it becomes Hoosick Street. Follow Hoosick Street in Troy downhill to the 15th Street traffic light. Turn left onto 15th Street. Follow directions to campus (below). Directions to Campus:
Cross the Collar City Bridge and follow signs for Route 7, Hoosick Street. At the 4th traffic light, turn right onto 15th Street. From 15th Street, continue through the 3rd traffic light on 15th Street. The entrance to the Armory is on the left at the first traffic light past the pedestrian bridge passing over 15th Street. The Visitors' parking lot is straight ahead and to the right, after driving up in front of the Armory.

Planes, Trains:
If you're arriving by plane, fly into the Albany International Airport. By train, you want to roll into the Albany/Rensselaer Amtrak station. They're both just a cab ride away.

The Polytechnic is a school newspaper on campus where you can advertise. More information can be found here.

The Polytechnic is separate from the Career Fair and any charges for advertising in the Polytechnic will not be shown in your Career Fair invoice.

A continental breakfast will be available in the Alumni Sports and Recreation Center (the Armory) for you convenience in the morning. Lunch will be served around noon.

There will be meal options for those of you who have dietary restrictions.

On Friday, October 3rd^th, set-up will begin at 8:00am, and the take-down will be at 4pm. On Saturday, October 4th^th, set-up will begin at 8:00am and the take-down will begin immediately after the Career Fair at 4pm.

EMAC stands for Electronic Media, Arts, and Communications, the only undergraduate Electronic Media degree offered in the country. The multidisciplinary curriculum has prepared students for a wide array of jobs including videography, animation, web design, interface design, and graphic arts.
